Love is patient and kind
Love is never jealous
boastful
proud
or rude
Love isn't selfish or quick tempered
It doesn't keep record of wrongs
that others do
Love rejoices in the truth
but not in evil
Love is always supportive
always loyal
always hopeful
and always trusting
Love never fails
We have gathered in the presence of Creator in love of friendship and family to celebrate the blending together of two hearts and two lives. Thomas and Jason have come before us as two, yet they will leave this place today as ONE, united in marriage.
O Creator, please protect the ones we love.
We honor all you created as we pledge our hearts and lives together.
We honor Mother Earth - and ask for our marriage to be abundant
and grow stronger through the seasons.
We honor fire - and ask that our union be warm and glowing
with love in our hearts;
We honor wind - and ask we sail through life safe and calm
as in our Creator's arms;
We honor water - to clean and soothe our relationship,
that it may never thirst for love;
With all the forces of the universe You created, we pray for harmony and true happiness
as we forever grow young together.
Thomas and Jason, you have come before us to express the commitment of love and marriage that you both have already made in your hearts. I ask that you always hold each other and your relationship in highest regard. Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of the connections that brought you together. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, kindness, and romanticism your relationship deserves. Communicate often and openly from your Heart Centre, honoring each one's heart's desire. May your love forever redefine itself as you both grow along Life's Journey. In pledging your lives and love to one another, you acknowledge the changes in your existence and celebrate the life commitment you have made together. The essence of this covenant is the acceptance of each other as Partner, Lover, and Friend.
Your rings by their very shape are symbols of eternal unity: without beginning or end. They are symbols of the love and commitment which exists in your hearts and characterize your devotion to one another. Let them always carry the energy of the love, joy and commitment you experience today.
**Jason, please place this ring on Thomas's finger as a symbol of your eternal love and commitment to Thomas and in recognition of the beautiful spirit which dwells within him. Repeat after me, "With this ring, I thee wed."

First of all, it’s a big responsibility,
especially in a city like [Fort Worth].
So think long and hard before deciding on love.
On the other hand, love gives you a sense of security:
when you’re walking down the street late at night
and you have a leash on love
ain’t no one going to mess with you.
Love doesn’t like being left alone for long.
But come home and love is always happy to see you.
It may break a few things accidentally in its passion for life,
but you can never be mad at love for long.
Is love good all the time? No! No!
Love can be bad. Bad, love, bad! Very bad love.
Love makes messes.
Love leaves you little surprises here and there.
Love needs lots of cleaning up after.
Sometimes you just want to get love fixed.
Sometimes you want to roll up a piece of newspaper
and swat love on the nose,
not so much to cause pain,
just to let love know Don’t you ever do that again!
Sometimes love just wants to go out for a nice long walk.
Because love loves exercise. It will run you around the block
and leave you panting, breathless. Pull you in different directions
at once, or wind itself around and around you
until you’re all wound up and you cannot move.
But love makes you meet people wherever you go.
People who have nothing in common but love
stop and talk to each other on the street.
Throw things away and love will bring them back,
again, and again, and again.
But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.
And in return, love loves you and never stops.
Thomas and Jason, the Journey of Life and Love can at times seem very narrow and straight or broad and winding. As you both know, there are many mountains and valleys emotionally and physically. Please remember, whatever the terrain, you will navigate through Life and Love more easily with adventure and joy in your hearts when you walk hand and hand as One.
And now with the Power and Blessings of the Universe, and in the State of Texas, it is with great Joy that I pronounce you One United in Marriage. Amen.
